No — we don't charge a callout fee for confirmed bookings anywhere inside the Brisbane metro. Pricing remains $120 per alarm fitted regardless of whether you're in Spring Hill or Bribie Island side of Moreton Bay. For genuinely remote bookings (Gold Coast hinterland, Sunshine Coast, far-western edge past Ipswich) we'll let you know at quote stage if a small travel adjustment applies — and we always confirm before attending.

Most metro suburbs are reachable within 1–3 days for non-urgent bookings and same-day for genuine emergencies (post-fire replacement, urgent pre-settlement). Inner-Brisbane suburbs (CBD ring, Fortitude Valley, New Farm, Paddington, West End, Woolloongabba) are usually next-day. Outer-metro suburbs (North Lakes, Cleveland, Springwood, Ipswich-adjacent) are usually 2–3 days. We book a fixed time slot — not a window — so you don't waste a day waiting.

Compliance under the Fire and Emergency Services (Domestic Smoke Alarms) Amendment Act 2016 is a state-wide QLD requirement, so the rules don't change between councils — but local council building inspectors and certifiers do operate slightly differently across Brisbane City, Moreton Bay, Logan, Redland and Ipswich council areas. We're familiar with all of them, and our compliance certificate is accepted by every QLD council, every Brisbane conveyancer, and every major Australian home insurer.
